My name is Kaylie and I’m Spencer’s sister. My brother and his wife, Janie, are moving across the country to New York to attend school. The morning (7/30) before they were supposed to drive away (7/31) to start their multi-day journey, they discovered an explosion/fire in the back of their truck. Everyone is ok, but a lot of their stuff is destroyed. It appears that the LoveSac beanbag spontaneously combusted, probably due to the heat. There was damage everywhere in the truck, truck shell, and to the boxes covered in oil, tar, and smoke. They lost clothes, shoes, and kitchen appliances. Janie is a teacher and lost many of her classroom supplies- books, games, and other materials. We’re hoping for some donations to help get them back on their feet.
