Hi everyone, in February of 2024 I have the amazing opportunity to travel with Face It! Ministries to Israel. As you may know, my heart burns for going out into all the world & telling people about God’s love & what Jesus has done for them. My desire is to live out the Great Commission that Jesus teaches us in Matthew 28. A few short weeks ago I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Kenya, Africa, to walk in obedience to that very command that Jesus gave us. The Lord gave me a passion & a burning desire for missions over 4 years ago, & with that also came a burden & a heart for the nation of Israel. I remember being gripped by Psalm 122:6-9, “Pray for peace in Jerusalem. May all who love this city prosper. O Jerusalem, may there be peace within your walls and prosperity in your palaces. For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “May you have peace.” For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek what is best for you, O Jerusalem.” Israel was & is God’s chosen people. His heart so deeply cares for Israel, because it’s apart of who He is. All throughout the Bible we see how Israel’s story is too our story. It’s the story of where we come from, where we are, & where we are going. We can find ourselves in Israel’s wondering, disobedience, & idolatry. But we can also find ourselves in Israel’s promises, redemption/restoration, & forgiveness. Those who believe in Jesus Christ, Israel is handcrafted into who you are. Israel plays a huge role in Jesus’ history & story. Israel is the place where Jesus’ life & death unfolded. The land of Israel helps us to understand & believe the very words that are God breathed in the Bible. With getting this opportunity to travel to the Holy Land, I am expectant to receive a greater understanding of Jesus & who He is & what He has done for us. So that I can then go out into all the world, just as He commands us, & tell of these revelations, understandings, & experiences. I will get to walk where Jesus walked, pray where He prayed, & weep where he wept. The stories that I have read will no longer be stories, but they will become a living & breathing reality. The Bible will truly come to life. I am looking forward to the opportunity of getting to experience the land that was Promised before the beginning of time. With that, I have a goal & a need of $4,000. This cost will include my lodging, airfare, tour costs, & food. I ask that you prayerfully consider donating to my trip. If you are unable to give, I ask that you partner with our team in prayer. Pray for the peace of Israel. Pray that the favor of the Lord would be upon our team. Pray that we would encounter the Lord like never before, but also pray that we would help those that we meet there to encounter Him in ways they’ve never known before. Thank you so much in advance to those who are able to sow into this trip - whether that be financially or prayerfully. Genesis 12 says that the Lord blesses those who bless Israel. May you be blessed as you bless His Holy Land.
