Trever had an accident at the gym Sunday night that resulted in him being taken to the hospital early Monday morning. He ended up needing an emergency fasciotomy to reduce the pressure in his leg. Since then he has had 80% of his tissue removed in his lower leg due to necrosis and now they want to amputate his foot. We’ve been trying to get him transferred but are getting the run around since it’s the weekend but UPENN will accept him. The hospital he is in now said his insurance will not cover transport and that it will cost $10,000 just to get him there by ambulance. Trevor is a young guy who deserves a second opinion.
