Hey there, It's Robertson, reaching out to share my ongoing health journey with you. I've recently been diagnosed with lymphoma cancer, a condition that affects the lymphatic system throughout the body. Over the past year, I've been regularly visiting the hospital, undergoing rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and various treatments. Unfortunately, these treatments have made it impossible for me to continue working. During this challenging time, I am incredibly fortunate to have the love and support of my senior parents who are caring for me. However, it can be quite a strain for them, pushing me around in a wheelchair and other fun things. I managed to sustain myself for about a year using my savings, but now the costs of transportation and accommodation are becoming increasingly burdensome. A single Uber trip from my home to the hospital costs around $150, and the patient rates for a hotel stay amount to approximately $200 per night. I am humbly accepting any donations you are willing to contribute. Even a small amount, like $5, can make a difference. It's not just the monetary value; it's the thought and support behind it that truly matters. Alternatively, if you prefer, you could also support me by providing meals or other necessary items. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and considering supporting me during this challenging period. Your generosity means the world to me. I've added a blog that I update sporadically, mainly for other patients, but you're welcome to read it - not for the faint of heart. It's written to demystify this process so it's not some headless horseman that people need shy away from. https://medisaurus.com Oh, when I started this, I really had no idea how to do a fundraiser, so multiple people pointed out to actually calculate the costs, so the amount has been adjusted to reflect that. Warm regards, Robertson
