Hello, my name is Lewis and I am proud to identify as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander trans man living in Larrakia Country Darwin. I am on a journey to fully embrace my true authentic self, and one of my goals is to undergo top surgery. For the past eight years, I have been contemplating transitioning, and finally, on December 21st of last year, I took the brave step to start my transition. Throughout this process, I have received incredible support from my rainbow family, biological family, and colleagues at work. I am truly grateful for their unwavering love and encouragement. I am also a drag performer, known as Benny Hangslow, and I often have gigs around town. If you see my name on a poster, I would greatly appreciate your support by coming to one of my performances. It means the world to me to have a community that embraces and uplifts my art. For those who are unfamiliar with top surgery, it is a procedure that involves chest masculinization or feminization. Surgeons remove or augment breast tissue and may also reshape and reposition the nipples to create a more affirming appearance. The cost of top surgery can range from $4,000 to $18,000, depending on the technique and surgeon. While I realize it is a lot to ask, I have created a LFEBridge page to help me reach my financial goal. Any donation, no matter how big or small, would be deeply appreciated. Your love and support during my gender affirmation journey mean everything to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio, and to those who choose to donate, I am forever grateful for your generosity. Sending you all big love. Lewis
