When I turned 21 I was eliminated off of my mums health insurance and didn’t get any health insurance again until 10 months after which means my hospital fees are not covered for my surgery. I have saved enough for my actual surgery costs because I thought that was all I needed. I also was shocked to hear how soon I was able to get surgery after my consult last week. I had waited a year and a half for my consult and I’ve waited nearly 6 years for a flat chest. The process is long but I’ve pushed through no matter how hard it got. I am so so so close. Since going through puberty (the first time) I’ve always absolutely despised my chest. It’s caused a lot of mental pain to me. I want to be free. I want to feel like me. I want to be comfortable in my own body. With your help and support I will be able to finally feel like me. I have come so far and it’s all thanks to you lot.
