Hi friends and family. With hopeful hearts, we are choosing to share our story with you so that we can join together and provide care for Pedro and his family as he battles brain cancer. Last month Pedro was diagnosed with metastatic adenocarcinoma, stage 4 cancer. Unsurprisingly, Pedro's faith in God is giving him the strength to fight! He is beginning multiple rounds of chemo and radiation. There are no words to describe the devastating repercussions of this awful disease. Moving forward Pedro will need multiple doctor's appointments, treatments, care and supervision for the indefinite future. With Pedro unable to work, and his wife is a stay at home mom they cannot support the needs of their family alone. The cost of the care that Pedro needs is expensive, out-of-pocket, and we cannot afford it without help. We love Pedro and are absolutely heartbroken to see him like this. Pedro is a hard worker and always strives to meet the needs of his family, even making sacrifices of working out of town to provide the best life for his loved ones. He is unbelievably kind and selfless. He is a friend to all. We need help to give him the best chance at recovery as well as to support him and his family while he is unable to work to provide for them. The road ahead is long, but encouraged by his faith in God, determination, and strength, we refuse to give up hope. Let's join together and show God's love and help him and his family through the most challenging and difficult time they have ever faced.
