To all my family and friends, as most of you know I have a baby sister, Sammy, who’s only 15 years old, who was born with an an immune system disorder that doctor say is a genetic abnormality. There are no words to describe her suffering and what she goes through each day. What’s absolutely concerning about the whole situation, is that the treatment that she needs isn’t covered by insurance. She has been torchured for years now. Hemoglobin infusions and numerous therapies are the only thing we have found that give her longer lasting relief from the ongoing complications with the hope of one day be able to gather funds for a bone marrow transplant.
