Timmy Barton was diagnosed with Melanoma in 2016. After a short and strong battle, the cancer was removed and Timmy was thought to have made a full recovery. In 2024, 6 years after beating cancer once before, Timmy began suffering from severe back pain, causing a healthy man to be nearly incapacitated. His team of doctors then discovered Metastatic Melanoma between his spine and liver, as well as in his lungs. Timmy's care team then set a course for treatment, and he began to feel relief, was able to enjoy more time with his family, and was even able to work for a few hours at a time. This past month Timmy went in for his post-treatment scans, anticipating that he would be placed in remission, however, his doctors found that the cancer found in his lungs had spread. Nevertheless, Timmy, 37, his beautiful wife Cassie of 17 years, and his two children, Hartley, 15, and Hensley, 5, are not giving up and are praying for God’s healing. They will be traveling to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas at the end of July, and they WILL find a successful treatment! All fundraiser proceeds will support Timmy and his family as they travel back and forth to MD Anderson while continuing with life as normal for their two children. Anticipated costs will be lodging, gas, meals, and medical costs. Any donation will help, including prayers for healing and peace. Thank you! #HisFightIsOurFight #TogetherForTimmy #PrayersForTimmy #Romans 10:9
