Hi, my name is Betsy Jansen. I am raising funds for my sister's family. My sister suffers from MS, and has now been recently hospitalized from a stroke. The stroke happened in the Thalamus of her brain and involves part of the brain stem as well. The medical bills are not 100% covered, and she has to see several specialists and will have multiple therapies that she will have to go to weekly. She is one of the most giving people I know, she would give the shirt off her back for a stranger. Victoria is a loving person and when she knows someone she loves needs anything, she is one of the first to do anything she can to be there in a time of need. She is a wonderful mom of 3 great kids, and her husband adores her. She puts hard workers to shame with her abilities to multi-task and get work done. These new limitations are devastating to her, she is always doing her best to ensure things get done and everyone is ok. My sister's family is in need of financial assistance during her road to recovery, because the recovery is going to take a lot of time and her husband will need extra time off as well to be able to attend appointments with the specialists. As of now they do not have an in-home nurse, friends and family are willing to stay with them to be of assistance. As we all know visitors are a wonderful thing to have, but this is also going to come with extra expenses for food, water, and energy. This situation is going to need a lot of hands and assistance, anything helps. Thank you for your attention and support.
