(A letter from Dan Morse)Hello to all,Just wanted to take a minute to give you all an update on Whitey.  As we all know this is going to be a very long journey of recovery for him.  He is resting comfortably with all of the medications they are giving him for the pain. Today he is eating and drinking a little at a time in which is good so far. As far as his injuries go, his left arm is broken in 4 locations; at his wrist, 2 locations on his lower arm and 1 on his upper arm (between his shoulder and elbow). His left cheek bone has a small hairline fracture.  The doctors have said that this is not an issue and should heal fine. His main artery was severed but repaired successfully in which was the main concern to save his arm.  His bicep was severed in half which is not repairable. His main nerves that operate your hand functions were compressed and stretched but not severed so hopefully he will recover from this over time.  He is able to move his fingers a little and has some feeling which is good news for now. In regards to his arm, the first of most likely many surgeries will be Monday at 7:00 am for his upper arm only. Updates to follow. We would like to thank Denn-Co and all of our coworkers, friends and family for all of your thoughts, prayers, and kind words.  To all of our friends and coworkers for coming by to see him and putting a smile on his face and letting him know how much he is thought of and loved by all of you.All are welcome to come and see him at RO Beaumont.  Please just give me (Dan Morse) a call or text to let me know when you plan on coming by as the rooms are on the small side so we can kind of rotate people in and out. Your presence is welcome. Keep in mind that Monday will be a surgery day so visiting will probably not be a good idea since he will be out of commission and we would like that day to be family only. I will update you all as I can of the results. This will be a very, very long recovery and your continued support is greatly appreciated. Again, thank you, thank you and thank you all for everything. The entire Morse Family
