As many of you know, Missouri is becoming more and more hostile towards trans individuals, especially trans youth. Carly's daughter Lisa will be starting with her endocrinologist in August at the WashU Transgender Center, and they're not sure she's even going to be be able to receive the care she needs there. As such, the family is packing up and moving across the river where Lisa will be safer. Moving is both a large financial and physical undertaking, especially when there usn't much time to plan or save. Carly is going to be asking for help from friends to pack and move items, but there are lot of expenses (cleaning, repairs, moving supplies) that need to be covered. Ideally, she would like to raise enough to hire a moving company, but that's more of a stretch goal. There will be a lot of opportunities to provide support, if you're not able to donate. Carly has always felt very supported by her community, especially the LGBTQIA+ community, and your support is greatly appreciated!
