Help support The Trainwrecks on the road to MEMPHIS! Winners of the Kitchener Blues Festival's 'Youth Legacy contest,' The Trainwrecks are thrilled to have been asked to represent the Grand River Blues Society (GRBS) and Canada as Youth participants at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN! We are raising funds to help with airfare, hotel costs, and incidentals. Money raised will help send our band members and their respective parent. The Trainwrecks are a Blues band made up of local high school students from the Kitchener – Waterloo area. These talented teens found each other through the Grand River Blues Camp and are excited to be able to share their love of the blues with music lovers of all ages. They have recently recorded a cover and will be performing at the Kitchener Blues Festival in August and the Belmont Bestival in September. The GRBS will be holding a fundraising event for all of the nominated bands, but the majority of the funds will need to be raised by the band. We will also be holding a fundraising concert with local bands at the Edelweiss Tavern in November and hope to see you there! Your support of Isy, Eryn, Alyssa, Él and Jack would mean so much to the band. It will allow them to perform at the Blues Challenge and also find inspiration from Blues bands from across the world!
