As a new camp, we faced delays in the placement process and were allotted tickets only towards the end of June. This has put us in a tight spot, as we had limited time to prepare all the necessary infrastructure, logistics, and art installations that make Fire Camp unique. Furthermore, we had a crucial camp fundraiser scheduled, which was supposed to help us cover a significant portion of our expenses. Unfortunately, a devastating fire broke out at the venue, causing immense damage and forcing us to cancel the event. Despite this setback, we remain determined to bring Fire Camp to life and contribute to the magic of Burning Man.
