Some of you might know me, but for those that don’t I will introduce myself. My name is Kim, I am a full time volunteer wildlife rehabber and executive director of a nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation center in Myrtle Beach, I also work full time at Publix as a cake decorator to pay my bills and a single mom with two teenagers (16 & 17). I was in a car accident on June 10th, a girl that didn’t have the right of way, pulled out in front of me causing me to hit the side of her car and mine was totaled (she was cited at fault). Because of the accident I have had bad back pain and re-injured my hand which was finally starting to heal (sagittal band injury) I have missed quite a bit of work at my paid job which has caused me to fall behind on bills and I’m not be able to help as many injured animals as I did before the accident because of the constant pain, it hurts my heart not being able to help the animals that need it. I am starting physical therapy soon and will be out on disability from my paid job until I recover. I’ve never been put in a position where I reached out asking for help personally so this is truly a difficult thing for me to do. I want nothing more than to get my life back to the way it was before the accident, but right now I’m really struggling and falling behind financially with my own personal bills since I’ve missed so much work and having to pay medical bills out of pocket. I am truly grateful for those that have reached out to help me and my family during this difficult time ❤️ Please say a prayer for my family that things start getting better soon
