As many of you know, our good friends Ryan and Bre Savoy were involved in an unfortunate incident the night of Saturday, July 22nd. This incident resulted in them both receiving extensive burns to various parts of their bodies which will not only take a long while to heal, but will also result in them missing quite a bit of time from work along with accruing medical/hospital bills. Knowing the kind of people they are, they were reluctant to have me do this because they hate “hand outs” but I assured them, it’s not a hand out, it’s a hand up! So it’s time to rally around our good friends and help them through this difficult time. They’ve always been willing to help and donate to numerous benefits over the years and now, unfortunately, we get to return that favor to them. Whether you can afford to donate to this cause or just send positive vibes and well wishes towards their recovery, anything helps! A little update for those that don’t know, both Ryan and Bre will be undergoing surgery today, July 27th, to have skin grafts put on the more severe burns. Not only will this accrue more medical bills, it will also add hospital stays for both of them while they recover. I’m overwhelmed with the amount of support and outpouring of love from so many of you! It really shows how many people truly care about them and how a community can come together! Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers!
