A friend of mine that I have known since we were kids, was doing something so simple as heating up water in his microwave for some Ramen soup, when tragedy happened. His young daughter came around the corner and hit the microwave door, causing the hot liquid that my friend was holding to pour onto her little chest. When I first heard about the incident, I didn't think much about it, but then I saw the photo. The same photo that is attached to this story. I'm sorry for the graphic nature of the picture, but hopefully it shocks you as much as it shocked me, from something so everyday as a bowl of soup. She is going to be hopefully okay with some surgeries, but the toll of time off and the inevitable hospital bills will set in for this young struggling couple. I want to make sure they can keep taking care of their daughter and not have to worry about the financial ramification of that time off. They shouldn't have to worry about losing their home for doing the right thing. The ironic thing is, that they have just finished paying for when she was born, and now this. I wish I could do it all by myself with one check, but I know I need help, to be able to help a man and his family that I consider my little brother. That's why I'm asking for your help, to help them.
