Hi, my name is Rifky, In July of 2024 I started dating E. whom I met on a Facebook singles group. Our romance blossomed super fast and by November we were married. E. was unemployed, and I agreed to hire him to work for my company. In exchange I was to pay for most his expenses, such as child support for his 5 kids, rent for his house in Houston, flights every 3 weeks to go see his kids etc. When we were married 10 weeks he told me he should have never gotten married and he might have made a huge mistake, he simple isn't relationship material he said. After he discussed it with his best friend he was advised that he can make it work if he went to therapy. I still continued to pay for most of his expenses and even paid for his therapy. Things were going well, he was very affectionate and loving and I thought all was good. Meanwhile his work routine was very mediocre at best and I realized he was not pulling his weight and it wasn't justifying the amounts of money I was financing. When I kindly mentioned it to him, he told me part of my job as a wife is to support him when he has no other income especially since he is always there for me when I had a difficult day etc. At the end of February of 2024 he got a good job offer where he would be making 200k a year being a nursing home administrator. He accepted the offer and was hired, only he couldn't start working until his license was transferred from Texas to new Jersey where his job would be. Thus started the waiting game, his focus was already on his future job and he barely put in work at my company, but I still kept my side of the deal and kept on paying. He promised me that as soon as he started working he would pay me back everything I was spending for his kids etc and I started writing things down. His license did not come through till June of 2024 On June 16 at 530pm he told me how much he loved me and how happy he was being with me, later that day we started packing up for a camping trip we were going to go the next day, when he suddenly at about 2am told me he is leaving me forever and did not explain why. He packed all his belongings and walked out the door without even saying good bye. My entire world shook apart, I did not think I would survive the pain that came with his departure, and if not for my family and friends I would not be here to write my story. I was not able to work or leave my bed for the next 4 months, my Amazon account where I generate most of my income was shut down, my website crashed, I just couldn't tend to any of my responsibilities. Thousands was spent on therapy to help me get out of the very dark place I was in. In the mean time E. started his new job days after he left me, and moved to NJ When my counselor reached out and asked him what the issue was, he explained to her that he never intended to stay married, he was bored and unemployed, it was COVID and I was fun to be around, he went on to say, I served a purpose and I'm no longer needed. After months of not knowing why he left endless amount of tears, he finally reached out to arrange our divorce and apologized telling me I was a good wife and I did not mess up our relationship only he did. He was very unwell he told me and has ruined every romantic relationship he has ever been in, he mentioned that he had a list of more than 10 women he had hurt and he was apologizing to all of them. I asked him to atleast pay me back, he told me to sell my engagement ring and deduct that off the money he owed. Even though legally the ring belonged to me I agreed and sold it and deducted it from the amount. Only he refused to pay me more than 6000$ When he owed me way way more than that. I reluctantly agreed and discussed with my rav that I will accept the gett and after I can always take legal action. Before we did our legal divorce I asked E. about money he was waiting for from a former boss, and he told me he lost the case and he did not receive it, and I believed him. I recently found out that he in fact received $250 000 in December of 2024 which was when were still legally and halachikly married. Had I known about it I would have never settled for the miniscule amount I received from him. His former boss paid him this money because in 2019 he purchased a building and put it on E,'s name. When his former boss wanted to sell the building in 2024, E hired a lawyer while we still lived together and would not release his signature without being paid 250k. After contacting my lawyer he advised me to first go to bais din, which I did, but E. ignored the invite and did not show up. Therefore I am going to court to get what is rightfully mine plus tremendous amount of pain and suffering for abandonment and for defamation of character. As you all know court is very expensive and my money has been depleted from this ordeal. I'm reaching out to my fellow humans to help me do right by me, to help future victims and past. Once I get my money back I will return all donations to every person that donated ! Please let's not a con artist who almost caused me to lose my life get away with it. A portion of the money will also go to his former victims that he has hurt and they are still hurting till this very day ! Please share on all your platforms !
