We are a dedicated group of parents (Linden McKinley Band- Parent Booster Club) who are rallying behind the incredible music program at Linden McKinley High School. We are parents of the program, with a few of our students being Linden Legacy students. Our goal is to raise funds to help our talented students attend and perform at the prestigious Southern Heritage Festival in Memphis, Tennessee this September- an opportunity that will enrich their musical abilities and create unforgettable memories. An opportunity that due to finances, many of our students would not be able to attend. The Linden McKinley Unstoppable Mighty Marching Panthers program has been a pillar of strength and unity in our vibrant Linden community for years. Not only do our kids showcase their passion for music through their exceptional performances, but they also embody the spirit of determination and resilience that our community prides itself on. We believe that every student should have access to experiences that foster personal growth and inspire them to reach new heights. Additionally, we are raising funds to support the ongoing growth and sustainability of the program. With your generous contributions, we will be able to pay for hotel expenses for our students in Memphis as well as ensure their needs are met as they experience not only the Southern Heritage Classic but also educational sites such as the Civil Rights Museum. Any leftover funding will be gifted to the band for new instruments, uniforms, travel expenses for other competitions this year, and other essential resources that will help our program flourish. As a registered club organization, the booster will gift the band with the funding as well as pay for items directly, including all travel needs and accommodations for the Southern Heritage Classic trip. As band parents, we have seen that this music program empowers our students to achieve their dreams and also has created goals to pursue higher education. We want our students to have experiences without the barrier of money. By supporting our program, you are not only investing in the future of music but also in the educational aspirations of our students. Your contribution will directly impact their lives, opening doors to opportunities they may have never imagined.
