The StoryManhattan Youth Ballet's The Knickerbocker Suite is a celebration of New York City, its culture and the magic of the holiday season. The production with a story by artist, Elliott Arkin, features an opening scene with narration by Tony Award winner, Michael Cerveris; the choreography of Brian Reeder, Deborah Wingert, Daniel Ulbricht, Marina Stavitskaya, & Natalia Boesch as well as NEW scenic design by Adam Koch Design. Here is where we need your help! This year, Adam Koch and his team are helping us to upgrade the production value to match the incredible talent of our dancers. This upgrade comes at a significant cost as we are having all of the new set pieces constructed by a Broadway scene shop! Our Party Scene Christmas Tree will now be able to grow seamlessly into an awesome replica of the Chrysler Building for Act I! The cost of creating this particularly awesome set piece comes at the highest cost at a total of $10,000. The Exciting News! We have an ANONYMOUS sponsor who is willing to match dollar for dollar until the 10k is reached! We have set a goal of $5,500 which will equal half of the cost of the tree and the shipping cost to our theater.
