As you all know, Zigi fell on the playground October 22nd and suffered a compound fracture of both the radius & ulna in his right arm. The surgeons at Children's Hospital performed surgery the following morning, however complications from Compartment Syndrome resulted in two more surgeries during the following week. He is scheduled for his fourth, and hopefully final, surgery tomorrow. The wound is severe. Zigi has been in significant pain, but he is a very strong little warrior, handling the pain as best he can. Amy is running on adrenaline and "momma bear" power right now, but she has been through a trauma herself.I am inviting all of Amy's friends and family to pull together to donate what you can to help ease the burden of the mounting medical bills, insurance deductibles and loss of pay while she's been at Zigi's side. Even after his final surgery, he will have continuing care and physical therapy, which will add to their medical bills. I spoke to her about this fund today and she was moved to tears. She told me that even with everything that has happened, what has amazed her the most is the amount love & support they have received from everyone.Let's all pitch in and shine some sunshine on this cloudy situation.
