It is with sincere sympathy to share this information regarding my dear friend Renee. She felt it was time. Renee was first diagnosed in 2016 with stage 2 breast cancer. 5 years later, on April 2nd, 2024, Renee's Breast Cancer came back, and she was diagnosed with stage four Metastatic Breast Cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes, stomach, liver and most recently throughout her bones. After mentally and physically fighting for over 2 1/2 years, Renee will be entering hospice in the next few weeks. She has exhausted 4 different types of chemotherapy treatments along with various hormone therapys and many other medications. Her daughter, Giavanna has never left her mother's side through it all and has also endured much mental and emotional pain seeing what her mother goes through. Unfortunately, Renee’s journey has now taken quite a turn and she now requires in-home hospice care. Renee and her daughter are now confronted with the reality of arrangements for her passing and end of life expenses including medical services to make sure she is as comfortable and pain free as she possibly can. Renee and her daughter have become overwhelmed with the painful truth of what is about to come. Unfortunately, There reality is not about fighting and beating cancer anymore, There reality is praying for more time. As she struggles to plan for her final stages in life along with affording the last of her medical bills, she realizes the cost is a lot to bear to keep her comfortable and plan ahead for her daughter. She is very adamant about taking care of as much as she possibly can so her daughter is not bombarded with bills and responsibilities that no 22-year-old should have to take care of or worry about. Renee wants her daughter to be able to focus on healthy grieving. This terrible disease affects more and more women each year. Thankfully, research has come a long way and there have been many new medical treatments that do prolong a cancer patient’s life but ultimately it still is a terminally ill disease. Renee respectfully request prayers. Prayers for the Lord to give her more time with her daughter. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. This will help give her some piece of mind during the last stages of her life. However, she ultimately begs for prayers. Renee and Gia are keeping in good spirits and have come to terms with everything. Her financial straights has just taken a toll regarding end of life arrangements. Renee and Giavanna have courageously fought for over 2 years but ultimately the cancer will win. The family thanks you in advance for your generosity and kindness. We beg of you to keep Renee and Gia in all your prayers so Renee can possibly have a little more time with her daughter. ❤️ Thank you
