Mecee and Evan Bokhart are two of the most joyous and caring people on the face of the Earth. Throughout their 7 years of marriage, they have shown one another and everyone they meet what the meaning of love truly is. The two of them have wanted nothing more than to bring baby Bokharts into this world. Throughout their 4+ year IVF pregnancy journey, they have faced many setbacks and difficult situations. No matter what the hurdle, Mecee and Evan have maintained their Faith and their positive outlook on life. In February of 2024, Mecee and Evan found out that they were having twins. Their excitement and joy was felt by everyone around them. Mecee's water broke at 21 weeks and she was life-flighted to St. Agnes Hospital in Fresno. She was ordered to strict bed rest at home. 3 weeks later, on 7/11/23, early on the morning they were due to be readmitted into St. Agnes Hospital and cared for by the Valley Children's High Risk Team for the remainder of bed rest, Mecee was again life-flighted to Fresno after unexpectedly going into labor. Hours later, she gave birth to Brooks and Daelynn who arrived far earlier than anticipated at just 23 weeks and 6 days. Both babies were born with severe medical challenges to overcome as soon as they entered the world. The Lord decided that he wanted Brooks by his side and brought him home to Heaven later that evening. Daelynn is fighting hard to be strong for her brother and every moment is an unknown for her at this point. With Mecee recovering and Evan being there every step of the way, both of them have continued their positive outlook and haven't missed an opportunity to be by Daelynn's side singing, praying, and being thankful for her life. Each day is an unknown for the Bokharts and brings unforeseen challenges. This difficult road brings both emotional and financial hardships that require our support. Between funeral arrangements for Brooks, specialized medical expenses, funding for the IVF process, and impending housing/meal expenses while living in Fresno until November, we must rally together as a community to support the Bokharts now more than ever. Your consideration in donating any dollar amount is greatly appreciated and goes a long way. Let's all come together to give back to a family who has given all of us nothing but the very best friendship, love, and support regardless of the situation. Thank you so much and please continue to pray for the Bokhart Family.
