It has been a tough few weeks for Thayer, Andrea, and our family & friends. On July 4th, Thayer went to urgent care to get treated for bronchitis and was sent to the hospital when a mass was found in his chest. This mass was causing fluid to surround his heart and he was quickly sent into surgery to relieve the pressure on his heart. He was then diagnosed with B-cell Lymphoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. His treatment will be quite a long journey but he is determined to heal! He has wonderful people around him including his wife, Andrea, who has remained by his side through this all. We are asking for donations to support both Thayer and Andrea as he undergoes chemotherapy and potential radiation over the next year. Your generosity will support Thayer's treatment, medications, amenities to make chemo comfortable, care for their dog (Louie), house cleaning, time off of work (Thayer will have to work from home part-time throughout treatment), and transportation. Prayers and good vibes of encouragement and strength are welcome in addition to your generosity. Thayer is determined to beat this and we have hope that he will! ♥️
