DONATE

Last Christmas, I decided on short notice, that I want to go to Costco, buy $300 worth of groceries and distribute it to the underprivileged in DC. I told my friends on Social Media that if they would like to chip in, I would add it to the budget and in just a few hours, thanks to their generous donations, we reached over $1,200!With the help of my mom and two friends, we spent Christmas Day distributing a truck-full of items and it turned out to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. [Watch the video below to see how it all went down]. This year, I'm doing it again, with the distribution part taking place on Thanksgiving Day [Thursday, November 26th | 10am - 2pm]. Since I'm announcing it in advance this year, and it's likely we'll get more donations...hence...more groceries, I'll be doing the shopping and packaging the day before [Wednesday, November 25th].  I learned from experience last year, that we need to be more organized, which is why I'll be having a "Packaging Party" after the shopping from 7pm onwards at my Exclusively Entertainment office in Potomac, MD.  I'll have some snacks, beverages and of course music to enjoy,  while we hopefully fill several cars/trucks with individualized packages for easier distribution, so come join the party ;)I'm fortunate to already have the commitment of several of my friends who contributed last year, as well as the youth from "Children of Persia XY", but welcome all of you to join for either or both days for as many hours as you can! I also hope that this year we have local restaurants either donate or offer at their cost, sandwhich boxes, so we'll likely need volunteers to pick those items up from around town. If you have any connections, let me know! Thank you in advance for considering to be a part of this cause.  With your help, I hope we exceed the minimum donation amount and turn this into a consistent thing, instead of just annual :)  If you're interested in any capacity, don't hesitate to contact me and we'll fill you in on the details. Sincerely, ImanPS: One reason why I'm doing this via LFEBridge, is so that the amount raised is transparent, and I will be posting the receipts so you know 100% of your donation has been used for the shopping.
