For consistent updates on Teresa please visit her Caring Bridge site… https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/teresadittman Hi everyone, I’m Brittany Leedle, Teresa’s oldest daughter. First, thank you for being here. Whether you have known my mom for decades or minutes you know the precious gift she is to this world. Thank you for taking the time to learn about her story and considering helping her and our family financially. Teresa (who I will refer to as Mom from here because that’s who she is to me!) was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia on Friday, July 14th. She had been seeking help from several doctors for various strange symptoms she had been experiencing; from extreme fatigue to strange bruises and sores on her hands and feet. Mom’s God sent rheumatologist ran a gambit of blood tests on Mom to try to really home in on what was going on. Those blood tests came back showing some extremely suspicious things and Mom was sent to the emergency room at The James at Ohio State University on Friday July 14th. She was quickly admitted and had every test you can imagine run. She finally had a diagnosis. Not with what we wanted (in no way shape or form) but an answer finally nonetheless. So, Mom has cancer. Our family’s world has shattered, turned upside down, and rattled beyond recognition. But one thing has not changed… God is faithful. We have already seen His provisions in this journey and we are just starting. Have you read this far? Awesome, because this is where you come in. We have been inundated as a family with questions of “what can I do?” and “how can we help?” Those are questions hard to answer sometimes. The first thing and most important thing I ask from you is to pray. We know our God is present, He is good, and He listens. We ask that you join us in praying without ceasing. When you think of Mom (ok fine Teresa to you), or Todd (Dad), or any of the Dittman clan… pray. We ask for strength, peace, and comfort in this time and the times to come. We also ask that you consider helping us financially. The medical bills are intimidating to say the least. We ask that, if you can, to consider donating. If you can’t, I get it. Just pray and remember Mom. Please know how much Mom and this whole Dittman family love and appreciate you for being here. Mom is truly an angel to this world and if you are here you already know that. Thanks for loving her. Love, Brittany (and Taylor and Abby and Todd and Mark and Haley)
