Team Sandy Several weeks back, Deb Carmel, Sandy’s dear caregiver sent a FB message asking for donations to get Sandy into her pool! Bless her heart! She had the right idea, the response from Sandy’s friends was truly truly heartwarming and generous, but pointed out the need to regroup and come up with a plan. Well Deb and Kathy Lynch got busy, did the legwork, which gave us the info we needed for a plan. And here it is… Kathy found a contractor that works with the ALS association repurposing and installing equipment. The ALS association will donate the pool lift. The cost of installation will be ~$2,500.00. She will also need a floating lounge chair for when she is in the pool. Cost~ $100 And while we are fundraising… Sandy and her caregivers will benefit greatly with a split seat lift. The purchase of this equipment will safely allow Deb to get Sandy to and from bathroom and shower. Cost ~$750. Donations are so greatly appreciated❤️
