Hello, My name is Jim and I will be riding RAGBRAI (bicycle ride across Iowa) this summer for the first time. I will be accompanied by my daughter Chloe as support. I am using this 500 mile trip to raise money for Suicide Awareness. One of my daughter's best friends named Tara left us too early back in 2024. I will be riding with the memory of Tara on RAGBRAI in the hope of raising money for Tara's Suicide Awareness Fund Tara's Story. Tara was beautiful, funny, smart, kind and a force of nature, she hated rules and that is one of the many things that we loved about her. Tara was a talented equestrian, a skier, a high school cheerleader and a sorority girl in college. On the outside she looked happy and successful but, on the inside, she was battling anxiety and depression. She wanted to educate individuals on mental illness and addiction, she hoped to attend law school and become a lawyer to help people with mental illness. We want to help to educate people, especially young adults, about the dangers of Adderall, it is banned in all countries except the USA. In her journals, Tara wrote that she hoped that by sharing her story she could help others. In her memory, we will fulfill her wishes. Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind — Robin Williams I ask that you will reach deep in supporting my daughter and me in this effort. We are fortunate to have a very generous anonymous donor that will be matching every donation made. The money that is donated will go directly to Tara McMahon's Memorial Fund with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention organization. I will personally be covering all LFEBridge costs so that 100% of your donations will go toward Tara McMahon's Memorial Fund Thank you, Jim Otto
