Everyone goes through hard times, and this is one for me. Less than two weeks after my car underwent $300 in repairs, my engine is blown. It happened late at night while driving on the KS Turnpike, a remote part of I-70 where the speed limit is 75.I work 4 jobs to try to make ends meet. My car is 13+ years old, and was bought used through a generous loan from my church (which I repaid fully). I recently had surgery so some of my work hours have been limited which directly affects my income. On top of that, I am swamped with student loan payments and the medical bills.I largely don't know what else to do. My parents are both retired and disabled, and often struggle to make their own ends meet. Without a car, I can't work at all. But, I am in no place to be able to purchase another car or replace my engine on my own.I am NOT one who normally asks for help. I am fiercely independent, but I know this is more than I can handle. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Even $5 or $10 will go a very long way. God old bless you.
