A Soledad community advocate, and small business owner of Pawsitively Clean dog grooming in Soledad, Jennifer Avelino Gray is a driving force in our community. Not only is Jennifer continuously donating services to local animal rescue groups, but also, she gives back to our Soledad community by providing discounted or free services to individuals who are low-income or elderly for their pet's needs. Jennifer is my daughter; my name is Cindy Avelino. Over the past 2 years, she has faced many challenges, most importantly, with her health. Jennifer was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 28, and now, in her 40s, she is facing 3 surgeries which are including spinal surgery on August 22nd. Her recovery from surgery is expected to be 2 months, and as you can imagine, this will cause her to bear a huge financial burden. In addition, her husband is disabled and in total, they face 6 surgeries this year. I am humbly asking the community that she loves and gives so much to, for help. I am asking for prayers, words of encouragement, and, for those who are able, financial help. We are so grateful for the love and support from this community. Thank you
