Hi, my name is Trinity. On Sunday, July 30th my five-year-old French Bulldog, Recruit, lost all functionality in all four legs. We rushed him to the emergency veterinary hospital a city over. The veterinarian had to do an MRI where they discovered he had a herniation between C3-C4 and was immediately taken into emergency surgery. In surgery, they removed some of the damaged parts between his discs. During surgery, they also discovered his spine was severely bruised. He made it through the night and has been able to breathe on his own since last night. He has regained movement in all four legs but is still not able to stand on his own. I had to pay the minimum amount ($12,000+) for the MRI & surgery before they did them. I had to dip into my savings to pay for it. I'm not asking for the whole $12,000; instead, I'm hoping to raise at least $6,000 so I still have plenty of money to pay for Caleb's school supplies and clothes.
