Hi, my name is Jasmine, & I am helping raise money for my family after the untimely death of my little brother George Leander Hill, Jr. George Hill, born March 23, 2002, to George Leander Hill, Sr. and Karen Annette Hill, departed this life and entered eternal rest on Friday, June 30, 2024. He graduated Cum Laude from Wakefield High School in 2024 and went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a full academic scholarship. At the time of his death, George was a rising Senior at the University of North Carolina with a major in Exercise Sports Science and a minor in Chemistry. In addition, he was Pre-Med and aspired to become an Orthopedic Surgeon. During his time at UNC, he became an integral part of the campus community. He was a member of the Theta Omicron Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, Minority Men in Medicine, UNC Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students, and the UNC JV Men’s Basketball team. He also participated in the Medical Education Development Program with the UNC School of Medicine and a few other community programs. George's life was cut too short.
