Dear Friends, Family, Colleagues, and Kindhearted Supporters, Our dear colleague and friend, Molly, is currently battling acute myeloid leukemia, an aggressive form of cancer. Her journey began in late April when she started experiencing health issues. On May 24, she was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, which requires immediate and intensive treatment. As Molly fights this battle, we, her colleagues at Husch Blackwell, have come together to provide our unwavering support. In addition to the physical and emotional toll of her illness, Molly faced an additional challenge on June 7 when she experienced a subdural hematoma. An emergency craniotomy saved her life. Her recovery has been a long and challenging process. Currently, Molly is still in the hospital, surrounded by her loved ones who offer continuous support. While Molly has insurance coverage, the financial implications of her condition are overwhelming. The costs of medical treatments, medications, rehabilitation, and ongoing care are substantial, and her insurance only covers a portion of these expenses. Additionally, there are daily expenses that her family must bear in supporting her. We, as Molly's friends, colleagues, and community members, are determined to ease the financial burden on Molly and her family.
