We are here today to come together and support Glenna Jean Pelley Christiansen, who has recently received a devastating diagnosis of aggressive brain cancer. Our goal is to raise funds to cover her medical expenses and provide the necessary support during this challenging time. For the past 15 years, Glenna has faced debilitating health issues without any clear medical explanation. However, she never allowed this suffering to dampen her spirit. Despite the hardships, Glenna lived each day as if nothing was wrong. Her unwavering strength and positive attitude have been an inspiration to us all. Glenna has always been a pillar of love and care for her family, as well as an active volunteer in our community. Having resided in Old Harbor for over three decades, she was not only a business owner but also a selfless volunteer in any situation. Her compassion knew no bounds. Many of us fondly remember her delicious homemade Snickerdoodle cookies and freshly baked bread. Now, as Glenna confronts this recent cancer diagnosis, she needs our support more than ever. Due to the rarity of this diagnosis, her care team in Anchorage is working with specialists in Seattle. She must have access to the best possible care to overcome this battle and may have to travel out of state for treatment sooner than later. To mitigate any unforeseen burdens and ease the stress from fighting this cancer, please help in any way you can whether that is keeping Glenna in your prayers, gifting a donation, or sharing her story. Your generosity, support, and encouragement can help her overcome this challenge. Our collective goal is to ensure that Glenna can enjoy many more years with us, surrounded by love and support. The extent of these medical expenses is unknown, and any assistance, no matter the amount, will make a significant difference. Please keep Glenna in your thoughts and prayers as we embark on this journey together. May you be blessed, and thank you for your unwavering support.
