Hi, my name is Emmeline and I am fundraising to help out my sister, Belle. For those of you who know Belle, you know she has a contagious bubbly energy and is quick to make connections with those around her. She has been living in Utah for the past several years and has recently moved back to Texas to be closer to family. Belle is expecting a baby girl next month. Due to some current struggles that she is facing, she knows she is not in a position at this time to take care of her daughter. She has asked me and my husband, Gilbert, to be Baby Girl’s legal guardians for the time being. We live close to Belle and will be working closely with her to help her meet her goals to find stability while we provide Baby Girl a home until she is able to be full-time with her mother. Gilbert and I have a toddler, so we have mostly everything we will need already to welcome Baby Girl into our home. We are prepared to financially support and take care of Baby Girl, but we are in need of help with the upfront costs of legal fees to make it so this guardianship can take place. We also want to give Belle a jumpstart on her goals of becoming financially stable by helping cover some of her bills while she is recovering from childbirth. We would love anything that you are willing and able to donate towards the guardianship of Baby Girl and towards supporting Belle as she navigates this next chapter of her life.
