My best friend Suzanne and her husband Steve’s world came crashing down in Feb 2014 when Steve was diagnosed with Leukaemia. Numerous chemotherapy treatments later, Steve is now in remission for the second time after a devastating re-lapse in June. They were starting to plan for a bone marrow transplant in the hope he can be cured and just as they were beginning to look to the future again, this week has seen him battling heart failure. I know they have battled through some truly terrifying times over the last year and a half, but this was by far the scariest yet!Funds are needed to cover the medical deductibles and childcare as Steve is too unwell to work and Suzanne is juggling caring for him along with their two boys, while working two part time jobs. They moved to the U.S. four years ago from the UK, so have no family close by to rely on for support and childcare. They find it incredibly difficult to ask for help in this way, so I am hoping to be able to help them and make a wonderful family’s struggle a little easier to bear.Thank you for your kindness
