Dear Friends and Community, We come to you today with heavy hearts, but also with hope and determination. Our dear friend and valued member of our community, Mark Armstrong, has recently been diagnosed with brain stem cancer. As we rally together to support him and his family, we are launching this LFEBridge campaign to provide them with the financial assistance they need during this challenging time. Mark is a loving husband to Sally and a devoted father to their two beautiful children, Mary and Max. They are a close-knit family that has always been actively involved in Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, the church, offering their time, and unwavering support to those in need. Now it is our turn to stand by their side and show them that they are not alone in their fight against this devastating disease. The disease has progressed rapidly, and Mark is currently awaiting treatment at MD Anderson, a renowned cancer center. As he prepares to undergo treatment, we want to alleviate some of the financial burdens that come with a cancer diagnosis. Our goal is to provide the family with the peace of mind they deserve, allowing them to focus on Mark's health and well-being without the added stress of mounting expenses. Funds raised through this campaign will be used to cover a variety of expenses, including medical treatments, medications, travel costs for specialized treatments at MD Anderson, home modifications to accommodate Mark's changing needs, and other related expenses. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and bring us one step closer to ensuring Mark receives the best possible care. We kindly ask for your support in this endeavor.
