Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, It is with heavy hearts that we ask for your help in supporting our sister/cousin, Lupe, and her 2-year-old daughter, Emery, who are facing an unimaginable loss. On July 10th Lupe’s fiancé, Jon, passed away unexpectedly. Lupe is now grieving the loss of her life partner and best friend for the past 15 years, while simultaneously learning a new way forward as a single mother to their young daughter. The impact of this loss is profound as Jon was a truly great man. Lupe and her fiancé were a hardworking team, diligently striving to provide a secure and happy future for their family. But with Jon’s untimely passing, the weight of supporting herself and their young daughter now falls solely on Lupe. Lupe is an incredibly strong, compassionate, and resilient woman, yet the road ahead is different than she had ever planned. As Lupe grieves the loss of her partner and comes to terms with her new role as a single mother, she also faces a number of immediate expenses. These include, funeral costs, daycare for Emery, health insurance, and more. Please join in to help ease the financial burden placed on Lupe.
