Hi everyone! Thank you for stopping by - I'm Rachel, a good friend of our beloved Kimberly Ryann Blumgart (now happily Alliod!) I wanted to start this fundraiser to support her while she faces her recurring ovarian cancer. For those who know Kim, you know her kind spirit and vivacious energy fills a room the moment she enters it. She's also been hit with life's hardest struggles, and no one deserves a shot at peace and happiness more than her. With her recent cancer relapse (bilateral 2B borderline ovarian tumor with micro invasion), she and her husband are facing the difficult reality of potentially losing the ability to have children - and fertility treatments are extremely expensive, unfortunately too expensive to be an option at the moment. She's currently pending chemo treatment depending on the outcome of her biopsy surgery on August 11th. The hope is to get fertility treatments done before any potential ovary removal. The goal of this fundraiser is to help her with medical bills, help encourage her that she's not alone, and show that hope is still on the horizon. No matter what or if you're able to contribute, we'll be grateful that you took the time to read a bit about her story.
