My Coworker’s Keeper Please watch video link for full story. Get ready for a story about my coworkers, Frank, Phae, and Sandy. Their story is one of a kind and an extraordinary tale of resilience and compassion. Meet Frank, the man in the center, whose life took a devastating turn when he was diagnosed with Kidney Failure, 2 1/2 years ago. Dialysis became his lifeline, a treatment he desperately needed to survive. What makes his story even more remarkable is that he works in dialysis as a Biomed tech and continues to work. In the photo on the left is Phae, Frank's wife and a dialysis nurse. She not only cares for countless patients but also became Frank's dedicated nurse during his battle. But fate had another surprise in store. On the right of Frank in the photo stands Sandy, a dialysis social worker who selflessly volunteered to be tested as a potential kidney donor. Against all odds, Frank and Sandy turned out to be a perfect match. It was a miraculous moment, but their journey is far from over. After 2 years of countless testing and appointments, they were finally cleared this year on Frank’s birthday to proceed with surgery on July 27, 2024. These remarkable individuals are humble, hardworking, and selfless. Their story touched the hearts of many, including mine. I felt compelled to do something for them and I feel blessed I work with these amazing individuals and want to share their story and that's why I call their tale "My Coworker's Keeper." Your generous donations will provide much-needed support on their challenging journey. Let's stand by them during this difficult time, ensuring they can afford the care and expenses such as costly anti-rejection medication, travel expenses for appointments at UCSF, meals, medical supplies and lost wages. Together, we can make a difference in their lives and remind them that they are not alone. Thank you for your generous donations! Please write a comment with some words of encouragement and prayers for a successful surgery and a safe return home!
