Hi, thank you for taking the time to read this... William McVittie has been diagnosed with an aggressive bone cancer - osteosarcoma. His family is having to make very difficult decisions about a possible leg amputation. They are also trying to make plans with how to deal with at least 9 months of chemo treatments. At this point Will is not supposed to walk on his leg or put any pressure on it so we have been finding many ways to try to comfort and distract him from the pain that he is experiencing. This next year will bring many financial struggles for this family, including lost wages, and renovations to accommodate a full-time wheelchair in their home. But they are also trying to keep things positive and 'happy' for Will and his sister Ava. They want to make some family memories including many train rides at kinsmen park, a trip to Calgary to ride the train at Heritage Park when he has some good days, or possibly even the train ride in Wadena on the Wheatland Express! The next year will also require many hospital stays which we all know include many parking costs and also eating out. Please consider praying for miracles and donating money to support them! Everything will help! Thank you:)
