Matthew Gomez experienced a medical emergency on Wednesday morning, July 26, 2024, his wife Shannon Gomez performed life saving measures until the paramedics could take over. Matthew was transported to the nearest hospital where he is currently on life support. Although, Matthew is fighting for his life, the likelihood he will recover from his medical emergency is not in his favor. Matthew is an amazing father to his 8 year old daughter, Maddie Moe, and a step father to Kayla and Albert. This is obviously a traumatic and tragic event for their family and the last thing they need is to be worrying about is financial burdens this will cause. Any support will go directly to helping Shannon and the kids with everyday expenses and any medical bills which will accrue during this time. I will update the condition of Matthew as time passes; however, we are preparing for the worst. Thank you so much for your support in this time of need for the Gomez family. UPDATE: my heart hurts to inform everyone, at 4:00pm, Today 07/28/2024, the doctors called time of brain death. My sister, Shannon, signed organ donation papers and Matthew will stay on life support until his organs will hopefully be able to save someone else’s life. ❤️ The next couple days we will be saying our goodbyes to Matthew, a loving husband, father, step father, brother, son, grandson, uncle and best friend. This is an incredibly difficult time for the family and they appreciate all the love and support everyone has showed.
