A Life-Changing Diagnosis; We were told that Luna Valentina would be born with a very rare life threatening condition called hypoplastic right heart syndrome (HRHS). When a baby is born with Hypo-plastic right heart syndrome. (HRHS)this means that the right side of the heart did not properly form. The right side of the heart pumps deoxygenated blood from the right side of your heart to your pulmonary arteries that feed lungs.Then from your lungs the blood is oxygenated and oxygen rich blood is distributed through your entire body.Since Luna is missing structures on the right side she will need surgery to repair. Right now we are in neonatal ICU awaiting what intervention Luna will have. We have put God first and with the love and support and prayers of our friends and family we know Luna Valentina Cruz will win the battle. We are asking for any contribution to help cover medical expenses not covered by our insurance. Thank you and god bless.
