Jonathan has recently turned 21, but throughout his life, he has been battling what doctors believe is Crohn's disease. His disease has never responded to medications, and his liver has been damaged by the process. Last month, Jonathan was given 3 months to have a transplant, and over the last few days, his health has steadily declined. With his liver failing, he is currently on life support. His mother Lisa's life has been completely upturned by this tragedy, and she has had to pause everything to care for her son. The hospital Jonathan is in is over two hours away, which means Lisa can't travel back and forth from the hospital. She can't go to work. Because of this, she has had to sleep in a nearby hotel and even in her car. However, there is still a long road yet ahead. No mother should have to leave their sick child's side, especially when any moment could be their last together. Because Lisa will have to be her son's caregiver for two months after a successful transplant, we have set up this LFEBridge to help fund her hotel stays, bills and anything else she and her son may need during this horrible time. Please consider donating to help Lisa stay with Jonathan. We pray that Jonathan will recover and become the funny, kindhearted man that he should be. Thank you for your time and God bless.
