This is Jimmy's work family and friends. On November 14th, 2024 Jimmy Haddad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Jimmy discovered a lump on his neck, which was biopsied, and tests were run on Jimmy’s blood. Jimmy’s blood came back normal, but the doctors wanted to make sure they were in the clear and conducted a bone marrow biopsy. The results of the bone marrow biopsy showed that 70% of the cancer was in Jimmy’s bone marrow. Jimmy’s cancer is labeled as CLL (chronic lymphocytic leukemia) and SLL (small lymphocytic lymphoma) which means cancer cells are found in the bone marrow (CLL) and cancer cells are found in the lymph nodes (SLL). The doctors immediately started Jimmy on an oral treatment on December 21st, 2024 before the start of chemotherapy. Leading up to chemotherapy Jimmy stayed positive, still coming to work, and making sure everyone around him was okay, even though he was going through one of the scariest moments of his life. Jimmy was very open about the hardships he would face, and the weight these hardships bared on him. As hard as this would be for Jimmy, he knew he had to fight hard for himself and his family. Jimmy is the loving husband of Tahani, and loving father of three wonderful children. Family is everything to Jimmy. Jimmy always talks about how proud he is of his children, and how absolutely amazing Tahani is. Infusion treatments and chemotherapy started on January 23rd, 2024. Jimmy has been limited on the contact he could have with people, which made it hard for Jimmy because if you know Jimmy like we do, Jimmy likes to socialize. Even though Jimmy was going through his treatments, he would always ask, “How’s the family?” or “How are you doing?” We were lucky enough to see Jimmy through his treatments when there were minimal people around. Jimmy always greets you with a hug and the conversation instantly starts and sometimes never stops. Seeing Jimmy go through these treatments and seeing how strong Jimmy is fighting this disease amazes us all. Jimmy always puts everyone before him. Now its our turn to put Jimmy first. Jimmy needs our help. With this type of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (CLL/SLL), Jimmy will never be able to be in remission. Jimmy will have to take a pill for the rest of his life to combat this disease. Anyone that has ever met Jimmy knows that he would give you the shirt off his back. Which makes him one hell of a detective because he truly cares for every person he meets. Throughout our years of working with Jimmy, we have grown to learn how caring, kind, and loving a person he can be towards others regardless of what walk of life they come from. With medical bills coming in, any money raised would help Jimmy cover those medical expenses. We hope that those who see this message find it in their hearts to consider helping Jimmy and his family in any way they can during one of the most challenging times for him and his family. Our deepest thanks and gratitude for helping and sharing Jimmy’s story. We are eternally glad that we have the pleasure to work with Jimmy and find out how much value he puts into life, living, and taking care of others that cross his path. Jimmy, you are truly and deeply loved by all of us, and we would do anything for you. You are the true definition of a gentleman, and the absolute sweetest human being. We’ve got your back since Day 1, and we will continue this fight with you. You’re stuck with us. WE LOVE YOU JIMMY! Sincerely, John A, Tiffany N, work family and friends
