Hi my name is Daniel Riddle, As some of you may already know our very good friend Jason Cooper was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) last year after being involved in a workplace incident. This lead to him having tests done which is when he discovered his diagnosis. The past year has been filled with its ups and downs, dealing with this life changing news and tackling the obstacles that come with it along the way. It has been a long road and will continue to be for not just him but his family too so we wanted to create this go fund me for everyone to be able to come together and show them the much needed support they well and truly deserve in one of the most difficult times in their lives. Hopefully together, we can all help to alleviate some of the stresses that come with going through this life changing illness. For those of you who want some background, please read on. Jason is a beloved son, brother, husband and father to two beautiful children & for all those that know him, you know that he is one of the genuine ones and solid as a rock. He is always there for anyone who needs him and always showing up for his loved ones & mates, very hard working down to earth Aussie bloke. Jas has moved out to the country with his beautiful family, run a farm, works for himself as a small Business Owner as a builder, and no matter what occasion Jason always makes the effort to show up even while he hasn’t been well at all. I have known coops since I was 5 years old been through primary school, high school and stayed best mates into our adulthood. I stood by his side at his wedding as he will mine, even if he has to sit by my side as his current condition has taken away his strength in his legs at the moment which he has been getting around in a wheelchair on and off. As a father, and a man we are only human, we’re proud to support and take care of our family, we will work hard to provide for our family until we can’t no more. Even know Jas was always our front man soldier, always will be, this kind of news is hard for anyone to take on the chin. I have come up with the idea to put together a go fund me to help raise some money for him and his family which I know will help them tremendously in these tough times. I know myself how hard it can be as I’ve also experienced tough times where I needed help and the hardest part as a man is saying yes. Alot of us know how much financial pressure plays a massive burden on our life so it would mean alot to me and the coopers if we can all Pitch in to help him out. Please share this around as much as you like, if you are not in a current position to help out that’s completely understandable. I’m not going to go into the side effects of MS but I’ve done some research since my best mate has been diagnosed with it and it’s definitely going to be a tough roller coaster for coops and his family, but I know his physical and mental strength will be able to tackle what ever comes his way as best as he can. If we can help take off some of the stress they are going through atm this will help him be able to purely focus on his health so we can get him back to the best he can be. I’m going to leave it there and hope we can achieve the target set if not even higher so we can take some of the financial pressure of the Coopers in these tough times. Love you coops like a brother to me, always have been, no matter what I’ll Always be there for you and do this for you as many times as needed over the years to come.
