Update: we saw Chad yesterday! You cannot deny God!!! Unfortunately insurance isn’t cooperating with some of the necessary medical devices needed at this time and they’re having to pay out of pocket, at the cost of over $100/day. He is doing very well given the circumstances and the unknown certainty of his future life. He’s home and has started seeing a local cardiologist that has ordered additional tests to confirm the extent of his heart damage. Please continue to pray for his heart function and know that they are working! Many of you know our beloved Chad Reeves. He’s a loving husband, father, friend and person who has dedicated his life to being a hero while working as a career firefighter with LFD for many years. While vacationing with his family, Chad suffered a heart attack. He was on a cruise ship for many hours before he was able to be flown back to the states from Nassau for treatment. Chad and his wife will be out of work for some time for recovery and rehab. Any donations will be used for medical expenses and daily living costs while they navigate this chapter of their lives.
