Dear Family and Friends, My names is Kristy, I am Rececca's sister and sister in Law to Ben Together with our family friend Rhee we are wanting to raise some funds to help ease the financial burden on Bec and the family as Ben begins his fight against Lung Cancer. Rebecca and Ben have been together for 26 years and have a family of 3 children, Hayley, Nicole and Brendon. 26 years is a long time for this couple and they have endured many everyday challenges however this fight is going to be the ultimate test for their precious little family, emotionally, physically and mentally and financially. Ben was recently diagnosed after several hospital visits with an aggressive form of Lung Cancer and they were given the heartbreaking news. Ben has been nothing short of an amazing partner and dad as the main financial contributor, however with the time taken off work for sickness, and now with a return date not any time soon, Rebecca has been supporting their family of 5 on her one income. Working in the health care industry, Bec has worked tireless hours on night shift and pulled herself together to be able to support their little family and most importantly become Bens's rock. When we become aware of Bens condition immediately we decided we had to do something to lighten the load and help this amazing family as the struggles of day-to-day life, increase as time moves forward. The financial burden that is now placed on my sister is enormous to keep a roof over their heads and a household running, whilst trying to stay strong for Ben. Ben is a very proud man so the feeling of not being able to help must be so over whelming so we would like to do the lifting for them !!! We are asking if anyone can please donate any amount at all to help pay for things such as the unexpected travel and parking expenses, rent, medications, appointments and just general support and living .. anything that can help relieve the pressure from Bec and Ben would be so greatly appreciated ♥️ All the proceeds of this fundraiser will be forwarded to Bec and Bens bank account in full.
