My name is Kathy and I'm Andy's eldest sister. Our beloved brother, Andy, is fighting for his life right now. Andy fell critically ill after suffering a severe heatstroke a few days ago. It progressed to a condition called rhabdomyolysis which has caused so much damage to his entire body that he is intubated in a medical coma until he can be stabilized. Andy turned 31 years old a couple of months ago. He should be flying home to California to spend time with our mother on her birthday. He should be hugging his nephew and two nieces who he spoils with toys that stack taller than them. He should be annoying his siblings with silly antics and jokes. Andy’s medical team tells us that his kidney and liver levels are slowly starting to improve and we will provide details when we find out more. In the meantime, we will continue to pray, hope, and wish that he is able to recover enough that he can open his eyes and see his family at his bedside. We have started this LFEBridge account to ease the burden of Andy's increasing medical bills and living expenses on our family. This will enable my family to concentrate on helping Andy get better, in whatever shape or form that may be. From the bottom of our hearts, we ask that you share this link with friends and family and if possible, in giving (any amount will help). Thank you for your support and please keep Andy in your prayers. With gratitude, Kathy, Lucy, Tina, and Henry – Andy’s siblings
