HOLISTIC TREATMENT FUNDRAISER FOR DANIQUE HANSON This fundraiser is launched by the yoga community in Brisbane through Elements Studio to support our much-loved Yoga sister, teacher and dear friend Danique Hanson. Danique has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and her life changed overnight! As a young woman in her mid 30ties - she has had to make the brave decision to remove her breasts and fight cancer through hormonal therapies! Danique and her amazing husband Rhys are navigating a new life now. Danique will not be able to teach and has lost the majority of her income as a self-employed full-time yoga teacher! Together with thousands of $ of medical bills already paid! We - her team, students and friends would like to support her and take any additional load off her shoulders. We have asked Danique how we can best help: after her double mastectomy surgery this week she will have a long healing journey ahead of her together with hormonal treatments that will cause early menopause. This fundraiser will support Danique with weekly holistic ongoing treatments (that are not covered by her health funds at this capacity) We know Danique doesn't like to ask for help - but we hope this will blow winds of support, love and hope into her wings!
